Testimonials......
"Just thought I would write and thank you for the excellent service received from Helplink by the people who use our services and of course ourselves. we have always have a wonderful service from you and and the flexibility of your service is invaluable to the people who require transport, particularly out of normal working hours. As well as the tranpsort you are always around to make sure people have enough shopping and basic essentials for them to remain safe at home and I know from speaking to various people this is often a lifeline to them"
We are extremely proud of the service we provide & work very hard to ensure we carry it out to the best of our ability.
We work very long hours, evenings & weekends & the nature of our work means we are supporting the most vulnerable people in our community who are frequently suffering very severe mental or physical illness.
Our volunteers are very special people, without their compassion & dedication, we would not exist.
Here are a few extracts from the letters of thanks we have received over the years.
."Helplink have been providing their services..... for many years. Dealing with vulnerable, sometimes very unpredictable clients..... Their service is invaluable providing a one to one service..."
"Without this assistance from your organisation, it would prove difficult to arrange transport for all the services we offer across Wirral."
" ...Without the help of the drivers and the office staff, who have to organise all the drivers journeys, an awful lot of people wouldn't be able to enjoy the outside world (i.e) shopping, the doctors, luncheon clubs etc". Helplink not only look after elderly people they also have to look after people with various disabilities, which they do with their normal expertise....Helplink for a lot of people help to make it a better world to live in."
"Once again thanks to you and your staff, for their continued help and assistance with my Mum. She would be completely house bound without you and your marvellous volunteers..."
